Ina Amarillo, PhD, is an associate medical director of the Cytogenomics and Molecular Pathology Lab and is board certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG). She signs out clinical cases – karyotype, FISH, CMA; and mentors Clinical Cyto and Molecular Genetics fellows. She is an associate professor in Washington University’s Department of Pathology and Immunology. Along with her role as an investigator of the Differences of Sex Development Clinic, Dr. Amarillo mentors rotating fellows, residents and students from pathology, pediatric genetics and other disciplines. She also serves on the medical school admissions committee and the Gateway curriculum renewal efforts where she is currently the lead of the Genetics and Genomics thread.
